Ode to Dragons
Dragons you may be just a myth,
A figment of the imagination
But I simply adore you.
Whether you are big or small,
Fat or thin, weak or strong,
Cute or fierce, or simply just how we see you.
Purple or pink, red or blue,
You are all of these and so much more.
Scaly, furry, feathery or smooth,
I wonder what others think of you.
Some fear you, some reverie you,
and others, like me, simply love you.
For you are anything we can think you to be.
You can fly and swim,
Breath fire, ice or even lighting,
Sometimes you are our creative companion,
Because with you the possibilities are endless.
